I'm a huge fan of wearing boy's clothes, they're much more comfortable and are very friendly to my food
babies! They're especially comfortable in the form on an oversized jumper but during warmer days, a boy's t-shirt are a great alternative (as are boyfriend-style shirts).  I found this Freshjive shirt from a store at Melbourne's DFO and it was on an amazing discount. I love that it's just the right length for me to wear it with a pair of leggings. I think an absolute necessity of wearing over-sized items is to make sure that the rest of your outfit is more streamlined. I kinda wish my leather jacket was more fitted around the waist but I still like the way it turned out.

until the end of winter

I know I always complain about how drawn out winter gets. But it's true of every season, I always get bored and start anticipating the upcoming weather and wardrobe change. I'm beginning to realise that I have the tendency to wear a certain set of accessories for a few days straight but I'm not sure if it's cos I like it that much or if I'm just that lazy.

So until winter ends, keep me wrapped up in fur...

dirty little pleasure

everyone has a dirty little secret. whether it be things they'd only ever do in the privacy of there own bedrooms (often involving a stack of rom com dvds and tub of ben & jerrys) or things they'd only ever ever admit until the most vile of tortures (it was really you who killed mr burns!).

This probably isn't my worst secret, but it's definitely one of my worst kept secrets. I love realty tv shows. But to my credit, not all reality tv shows. I'm not a huge fan of dancing with the stars, I didn't much care for Australian Idol or any of the renovation shows. Granted, I'd watch it if it was on and I was too comfortably situated among a mountain of pillows to search for the remote. I'm not even a HUGE fan of realty tv shows based on fashion, but again I'd watch it if it was on.

No, I LOVEEEE tv shows like Laguna Beach, The Hills and most recently, Keeping up with the Kardashians (and subsequent spin-offs). I'm not sure what the draw is, but admittedly I'm a very nosy person. So perhaps it's the fly on the wall element of it combined with DRA-MAH and gorgeous clothes. I'd freely admit that Lauren Conrad is probably one of my style icons. She's not the most fashionable or innovative celebrity out there, but she has a steady Cali-girl style which I adore.

I've been devouring the Keeping up with the Kardashian episodes recently and I think Khloe is my absolute favourite. She's absolutely hilarious and has a sassy and provocative attitude which I wish I could have.

dance practice

I'm not much of a performer. I'm not much of a dancer. Put these two together? An utter mess. My friend requested a dance for her birthday from our group of friends. A bundle of nerves, sweat and almost projectile vomiting ensued.

After daily practices for a week and lots of youtube tutorials watched, the big day had come. The actual performance went without a hitch. We were all in sync (our greatest fear) and no one forgot any steps. This was my final dance practice outfit. I can't explain how hard it was to resist stocking up on cute yoga outfits for dance practice, but common sense won in the end.

sunniest winter days

It was the warmest winter's day ever. My iphone said it was 25 degrees, but it felt more like it was in the 30s. I was actually sweating! I guess this is what global warming does. Apologies for the lack of posts and this short post, I have a huge assignment due soon so I'm squeezing this in after work.
