denim and the red doors

Stylestalker criss-cross dress // MNG denim shirt (similar here) // ASOS boots (really old) //
Alexander Wang Rocco (similar here) // Chloe sunglasses

I feel like lately I've been dressing more casual chic rather than my more usual girly-ness. I've had these boots for probably 4 years but this is the first time I've worn them properly. I love the wrap around straps and the peep toe but honestly they cut off my legs like crazy, so they've been sitting under my bed collecting dust.

I'm so happy I finally gotten to wear it!

ps/ I hope it's not too inappropriate to be wearing an oversized and gaudy cross during Easter. On that note, Happy Easter! Hope you're enjoying the break and all the chocolate eggs.

saturday brunching

Stylestalker there she goes playsuit // Sportsgirl military jacket (similar here) // Topshop creeper shoes//
Alexander Wang Rocco (love this combination) //

I don't think you ever really appreciate the weekends until you start working, and getting a group of friends together starts getting harder and harder every week. I know I never appreciated the weekends until it became the only time I could see my friends or spend time with my family.

This past saturday was spent at Jones Bay Wharf having lunch/brunch at Cafe Morso
The environment and the food was perfect
And to make it even better, the sun was all happy and bright!

This jacket has returned to my wardrobe after wandering off into my mum's closet for the past year. But I needed something heavier to set off the playsuit that I'm wearing. I'm bummed that I wasn't able to get any good shots of the playsuit but let me assure you, it's beyond beautiful!

I hope everyone had a good weekend and enjoyed themselves

outfit | split up to there

wearing: Topshop skirt, Topshop jacket, random tee, Tony Bianco shoes,
Michael Kors watch, A.Wang clutch

If I caught myself on a day that I was completely honest, I can admit that I'm not the most adventurous dresser. Most of the times I like to think otherwise, and so I end up with this skirt and a split up to there. It's not the most practical of skirts, although how I thought otherwise when I saw it on the Topshop website, I can't fathom.

As much as I enjoy the billowing effect- flashing my unmentionables, not as attractive.

dreaming | silver toes

These shoes have been dancing across my mine. They're on sale at net-a-porter. The best part about living in the Souther Hemisphere is getting my grubby little hands on the sales before the weather actually sets in. I've been wanting a pair of silver or white (think: A.Wang) boots for awhile now. I saw a pair of normal pumps with the silver cap at Chanel when I went in for my flats, but alas, the price was such a downer.

These would be perfect for light floral dress and a leather jacket when the weather gets a little bit cooler or a pair of burgundy jeans, white shirt and faux fur jacket in the dead of winter.

Temptation, thou art a cruel bitch.

until the end of winter

I know I always complain about how drawn out winter gets. But it's true of every season, I always get bored and start anticipating the upcoming weather and wardrobe change. I'm beginning to realise that I have the tendency to wear a certain set of accessories for a few days straight but I'm not sure if it's cos I like it that much or if I'm just that lazy.

So until winter ends, keep me wrapped up in fur...
