I found these photos in my computer when I was trying to clean out some of my photos.

They're really just a cruel taunt about the short summer that we just had

Although, I'm super excited for autumn to come, I can't wait to layer all the clothes that I've accumulated during the summer in preparation!

In the meantime, I'm going back to my insolvency law notes making a wish list for all the things I want to buy in the near future

These photos were taken earlier this week when the sunshine was beautiful and I wanted to dress like I rolled around the floor of a candy store and leave wearing the wrappers. My mum took one look at me in the morning and said that I make her want to eat candy hahha

I'm enjoying the last remnants of the weekend by chilling to some Kenny G and an Aloe Vera facial mask. It's not actually driving away the impending Monday Blues but it's definitely not hurting.

I enjoyed a lovely SUNNY sunday with the boyfriend eating Fish&Chips at a local park. The weather has been absolutely horrendous for the past week (the reason I blame for my lack of posts!) and I'm pretty sure it decided to overcompensate today. Not that I mind of course. Although some form of stability would be nice. 

We enjoyed the sunshine and then went home to study

I know, I know. I live such an exciting life. But uni just started and I desperately need to stay up to date with my law readings. After 4 years of uni, I'm starting to learn from the mistakes of my past. Mistakes which include staying up all night, for consecutive nights to study for finals. 

This time, I will be prepared!

So....either expect a total lack of posts from me OR a dramatic increase of posts (procrastination, of course)

I fell in love with this skirt when I first saw it at Forever New but I couldn't justify the price because I knew from past experience that their sequin products don't last very long.

But it's the prettiest shade of coral!

I was lucky enough to snag them when they went on sale, but they only had it in a few sizes bigger than my usual-- so i bought it and i wear it with a belt. Totally worth the money i saved!

I was able to quickly snap some photos before joining friends for a great italian dinner at the local restaurant. Followed by a movie; the descendants, which i really enjoyed!

I always imagined denim (other than jeans) to be hard to wear

denim jackets have too many flashbacks to the 90s

&& denim shirts weren't something that I ever thought about

but recently, my style has slowly become less girly

&& i find myself wanting to wear a denim jacket or shirt

over everything, especially florals and dresses

and these boots are beyond versatile

I'm so glad I bought both the tan and the black!

If I caught myself on a day that I was completely honest, I can admit that I'm not the most adventurous dresser. Most of the times I like to think otherwise, and so I end up with this skirt and a split up to there. It's not the most practical of skirts, although how I thought otherwise when I saw it on the Topshop website, I can't fathom. 

As much as I enjoy the billowing effect- flashing my unmentionables, not as attractive.

I'm definitely going through a yellow phase, I'm craving a pair of yellow jeans but I'm undecided between a bright mustard yellow or a pale pastel yellow. Although I may have overdosed on mustard last winter, it's still such a beautiful hue. 

These nude wedges look incredible comfy, but every time I wear them I get blisters on my toe. Yuck.
